In July, the Libertarian National Campaign Committee sent Executive Director Evan McMahon to help the Libertarian Party of Illinois defend its slate of statewide candidates from a GOP attack. The Republicans, funded by their billionaire gubernatorial candidate, had challenged the 44,000 signatures collected by the candidates and a dedicated group of volunteers.
It was important for the LNCC to send Evan to Springfield, Illinois for two weeks of long and intensive days in the challenge process. All the training and support in the world means nothing if we don’t do everything we can to keep Libertarian candidates on the ballot. (read more about the Illinois Challenge)
But this wasn’t Evan’s first trip in the field. In fact, over the last 20 months, Evan has spent over 25 weeks in the field training and defending Libertarian candidates and county parties. In states like Ohio, California, Illinois, North Carolina, Texas, Arkansas, and many more to come. No surprise to anyone that knows him, but Evan wants to do more.

By joining the LNCC as a Liberty Defender, you’re helping us reach our goal of $2,500 in monthly contributions so that we can ensure that the LNCC will have the funds available to immediately send Evan out when a candidate or local party calls for help or training.

What is the Libertarian National Campaign Committee (LNCC)?
Our mission is simple. Get Libertarians elected to implement policy… from the halls of Congress to the smallest school districts. We are here to turn the tide and change the course of America.
We do this by providing direct support and training for candidates and local county parties.
Can I make a one-time payment, instead of monthly?
Yes. You can make either smaller monthly recurring contributions or a larger One-Time contribution. Click Here to make a direct One-Time contribution.
Can I make a larger monthly contribution?
Absolutely! On the checkout page there is an option to enter your own amount. Please select the button “Other Amount” and then enter the amount you wish to give each month in the box labeled “Other Amount”.
Can I save the LNCC money and ask you not send me a gift?
Yes. Shortly after your monthly contribution is setup, we will send you a link to select your gift(s). At that time you will be able to select the option to not receive a gift.
Why would I pay this much for the 'gift'
It’s not about the value of the gift. The gift is just a Thank You for helping to support the LNCC’s mission. If the value of the gift was equal to the contribution, how would we be able to fund our projects?
When will I receive my gift?
Gifts are sent out from our main office in Indianapolis, IN upon completion of the 2nd monthly contribution. Reason Magazine subscriptions can take an additional 4-8 weeks to process.
Is Reason Magazine sponsoring this promotion?
